Reviews and Ratings <br />
I just returned from a two-week stay at the Riu Bambu, where I spent the first week with friends and the second with family. The beach is stunning with soft white sand and clear blue waters - perfect for lounging or boogie boarding. The resort offers plenty of activities for both adults and kids, and the overall vibe is friendly and safe. However, the room service was inconsistent and the Punta Cana airport experience was chaotic.
My stay at the hotel started off on a rough note with a few issues in our first room, but after an upgrade, things improved significantly. The overall dining experience surpassed my expectations with a variety of restaurant options, although the service could have been more consistent, especially in the main areas. The pool and beach were great, but I noticed cleanliness could use attention. Ultimately, the trip was enjoyable, but it didn’t feel quite like a 5-star experience.
The hotel has a clean atmosphere and offers a variety of amenities, but my experience was marred by rude staff interactions and chaotic dining conditions during the weekend. While the rooms are well-kept, the service largely depended on staff availability, especially when the hotel was crowded. Overall, value for money was compromised due to these issues.
We just returned from a two-week stay, and it was so enjoyable! The beach is stunning, and there are plenty of loungers available. While the pools have constant loud music, the food selection was good, and we found the staff mostly accommodating. On the downside, we experienced issues with service at the restaurant and noticed that some of the local guests received different treatment. Despite these hiccups, the overall experience was relaxing, and we found it to be great value.
We had a wonderful time at Riu Bambu. The location is fantastic, with easy access to the beach and lots of activities for the family. The room was modern and clean, albeit with minor maintenance issues. The dining options were plentiful and the food delicious, but some aspects of the service could have been better. Overall, it was a great value for money and we made some lovely memories, despite a few hiccups.
